Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mayville). They walked away with a 56-44 win over the Augustine Prep Lions on Saturday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Cardinals considering their 14-point performance the game before.

Mayville's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-11. As for Augustine Prep, they dropped their record down to 5-10 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Mayville Cardinals face off against the Lomira Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Augustine Prep, they will welcome Brown Deer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
