Basketball Recap: Midway Falcons vs. Electra Tigers
Midway lost a close one when they played last Friday but unfortunately for them the loss they were handed on Saturday was a bit more commanding. They came up short against the Electra Tigers, falling 48-28. The defeat continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost five in a row.
Midway now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Electra, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Midway will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while.
