Baseball Recap: Southeastern Gets the Win

After only one run in their last matchup, Southeastern made sure to put some runs up on the board against Adena on Saturday. The Panthers narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Warriors 12-11. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Warriors back in April, they had to take a 10-6 loss.

The victory made it two in a row for Southeastern and bumps their season record up to 9-6. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for Adena, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Southeastern will face off against rival Huntington at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Adena is set to challenge their familiar foe Unioto at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
