Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Clinton). They put the hurt on the Aurora Houn Dawgs with a sharp 9-1 win on Tuesday. Considering Clinton have won 13 games by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Clinton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 70 goals over those 15 contests. As for Aurora, they dropped their record down to 6-12-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Clinton didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 5-1 win against New Covenant Academy on the 22nd. Aurora does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
