Ursuline Academy had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Mercy McAuley Wolves. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

One reason for the win was Ursuline Academy's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-18, 25-14.

Jillian Forrest paced Ursuline Academy's offense, picking up 13 kills. Forrest got some help from Kelsey Green and her 29 assists.

When it comes to explaining why Mercy McAuley lost, don't look at Aubrey Blanton. Despite the final result, she had 20 digs and two aces.

Ursuline Academy's victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Mercy McAuley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Ursuline Academy will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against St. Henry at 7:30 p.m. As for Mercy McAuley, they will head out on the road to face off against Harrison at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
