Volleyball Recap: Nimitz Comes Up Short

Nimitz's tournament run continued when they took on Lamar Consolidated on Thursday. The Cougars took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs.

Nimitz's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lamar Consolidated, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Nimitz wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Fort Bend Willowridge on the 16th. As for Lamar Consolidated, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Columbia on the 15th.
