Basketball Recap: Bainbridge Takes a Loss

Bainbridge lost against Bremerton back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bainbridge Spartans lost 65-44 to the Bremerton Knights. The Spartans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-16.

Bainbridge's defeat dropped their record down to 17-5. As for Bremerton, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bainbridge won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Foss at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Bremerton, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Franklin Pierce at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Franklin Pierce will roll in looking for their 16th straight victory, something Bremerton surely won't give up without a fight.
