Basketball Recap: Rushville-Industry Takes a Loss

Rushville-Industry lost against Quincy Notre Dame back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Rushville-Industry Rockets had to suffer through a 67-20 loss at the hands of the Quincy Notre Dame Raiders. While losing is never fun, the Rockets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 465th, while the Raiders are ranked 11th).

This is the second loss in a row for Rushville-Industry and nudges their season record down to 7-14. As for Quincy Notre Dame, their win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 23-2.

Rushville-Industry will face off against Hamilton/Warsaw at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hamilton/Warsaw is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51 points per game this season. As for Quincy Notre Dame, they will head out to square off against Monroe City at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
