Piney Woods and Resurrection Catholic squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Piney Woods had to settle for second. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0. The Tornadoes' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Piney Woods' defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Resurrection Catholic, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-6.

Piney Woods does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Resurrection Catholic, they will take on Sebastopol at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
