Baseball Recap: Uintah Takes a Loss

Uintah extended their losing streak to five on Wednesday, dropping them down to 8-9. They lost 15-3 to the Timpanogos Timberwolves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Timberwolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-1 on Monday.

As for Timpanogos, the victory was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-1. Considering they have won eight contests by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

For Timpanogos' part, the team relied heavily on Cooper Hawkes, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, four RBI, and two doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of Jace Hunter, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.

While Uintah had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
