Football Recap: Meigs Skates Past Alexander with Ease

Meigs had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They blew past the Alexander Spartans 30-3. The result was nothing new for the Marauders, who have now won four contests by 25 points or more so far this season.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Meigs' defense and their four sacks. Demetrius Tackett was especially locked on to Alexander's QB and sacked him twice.

The win got Meigs back to even at 5-5. As for Alexander, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

As of now, neither Meigs nor the Spartans have any future games scheduled.
