Baseball Recap: Macon Takes a Loss

Macon lost against Hannibal back in May of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Tigers fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 2-1. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Macon saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trey Hatcher, who went 1-for-4 with one RBI. Another was Kennon Isaacson, who scored a run and stole three bases.

Macon's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Hannibal, the victory also got them back to even at 6-6.

Looking ahead, Macon will venture away from home to square off against Palmyra at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hannibal, they will face off against Kirksville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
