Baseball Recap: Hamilton Extends Winning Streak to Three

Hamilton had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Turpin Spartans 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Big Blue have posted since May 22, 2025.

Chase Moak looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Hamilton is undefeated when Moak allows one or fewer hits, but 5-12 otherwise.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Noah Davidson, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2025. Another player making a difference was Kaleb Harden, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Hamilton's victory bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Turpin, they dropped their record down to 17-4 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Hamilton will venture away from home to challenge Colerain at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Turpin, they will take on Loveland at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
