Baseball Recap: Hialeah Comes Up Short

Hialeah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Miami Stingarees. The Thoroughbreds were not able to make up for their loss to the Stingarees from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Hialeah's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Miami, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Coming up, Hialeah will challenge Hialeah Educational Academy at 6:00 p.m. on March 18th. As for Miami, they will take on Hialeah-Miami Lakes at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Miami is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.7 runs per game this season.
