The team also got some help courtesy of Vince Eiler, who scored two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Riverside unfortunately witnessed the end of their 36-game winning streak dating back to last season on Tuesday. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Neshannock. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, Riverside couldn't push the score so high this time.

Riverside saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sam Barber, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Bo Fornataro, who went 1-for-4 with a triple and a run.

Mohawk Area's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-1. As for Riverside, their loss ended a 12-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 11-1.
