Melbourne waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Rockledge Raiders as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

One reason for the win was Melbourne's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-17, 25-11.

Addison Simcox paced Melbourne's offense, picking up nine kills. Simcox got some help from Lily Sigety and her 14 assists. Kamryn Simcox controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Melbourne's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Rockledge, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Melbourne didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against International Community on the 22nd. As for Rockledge, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy on the 25th.
