Basketball Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short

If Franklin was riding high fresh off their 46-25 takedown of Glenn last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Franklin Patriots had to suffer through a 53-12 loss at the hands of the South Lyon Lions. The contest marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Franklin's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-16. As for South Lyon, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-2 record this season.

Franklin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Lyon, they will face off against Walled Lake Western at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
