Meanwhile, DuQuoin suffered their closest defeat since January 6, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of Benton by a score of 55-53.

Carterville's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-13. As for DuQuoin, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-9.
