Baseball Recap: Montrose Gets the Win

Montrose posted their closest win since April 9, 2025 on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Susquehanna Sabers 2-1. The two-run effort marked the Meteors' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The team relied heavily on Evan McComb, who went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases and one run. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Keaton Kildare was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Montrose's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Susquehanna, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.
