Baseball Recap: St. Paul's Comes Up Short

St. Paul lost against Mandeville last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wolves came up short against the Skippers, falling 15-3. The Wolves' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Brennan Keim made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That home run was his first of the season. Cody Corales was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

St. Paul's loss dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Mandeville, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-17.

St. Paul's wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Covington on the 8th. As for Mandeville, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 15-3 win against Riverdale on the 10th.
