It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Laney ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Hoggard Vikings 5-4. The Buccaneers are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 12 straight.
The team relied heavily on Jason Sproull, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. JB Brooks was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two doubles and one run.
Laney's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-4.
