Soccer Game Preview: Eastland Christian vs. Elfers Christian

Eastland Christian hasn't had much luck against Elfers Christian recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Hurricanes will take on the Eagles in a tournament on Friday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Eastland Christian heads in on the heels of a playoff game last Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Ruskin Christian. The loss was Eastland Christian's first of the season.

Their goal came courtesy of Madison Bradley, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, Elfers Christian faced The Rock in a battle between two of the state's top teams last Tuesday. The Eagles lost 4-1 to the Lions. Elfers Christian have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Having lost for the first time this season, Eastland Christian fell to 12-1. As for Elfers Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.

Eastland Christian came up short against Elfers Christian in their previous meeting back in May of 2017, falling 2-0. Can the Hurricanes avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
