The Wakeland Wolverines will head out to take on the Highland Park Scots at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Wakeland is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.2 runs per game this season.

Wakeland's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over Newman Smith. The Wolverines haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Highland Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of Turner.

Wakeland's record now sits at 17-4. As for Highland Park, their loss dropped their record down to 6-14.

Wakeland took their win against Highland Park in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 13-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolverines since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
