Baseball Recap: Midland Park's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

There's no place like home for Midland Park, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Butler Bulldogs a 3-0 shutout on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Conor Shortway was excellent, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.

Midland Park moved to 16-8-1 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Butler, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-14.

Coming up, Midland Park will challenge Eastside at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Butler does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
