Soccer Game Preview: Jesuit vs. John Ehret

The Jesuit Blue Jays will square off against the John Ehret Patriots at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

John Ehret will be up against a hot Jesuit team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Blue Jays' defense stepped up to hand Chalmette an 8-0 shutout on Saturday. Given Jesuit's advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana soccer rankings (they are ranked first, while Chalmette are ranked 121st) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, John Ehret made easy work of Salmen on Friday and carried off a 6-1 victory.

John Ehret's win bumped their record up to 14-4-1. As for Jesuit, their victory bumped their record up to 16-0-2.

Everything went Jesuit's way against John Ehret when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as Jesuit made off with an 8-0 win. Do the Blue Jays have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Patriots turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
