After a string of four wins, Trinity's good fortune finally ran out  on Friday. They lost  9-2 to the Thomas Jefferson Jaguars. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  loss the Hillers have suffered  since March 16, 2024.
  Matthew Robaugh was cooking despite his team's loss,   going 3-for-4 with two  doubles, one  run,  and one  RBI.
Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Thomas Jefferson, the  victory was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-4.
 Looking ahead, Trinity will head out to  square off against Peters Township  at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday. The Indians' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8  runs per game  this season, so the Hillers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Thomas Jefferson, they will welcome McKeesport  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. The Jaguars are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on  a  14-game losing streak.
