Baseball Recap: Hancock Comes Up Short

Hancock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pascagoula Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-2 last Tuesday.

Hancock saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Roston Ragon, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Hancock's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Pascagoula, they pushed their record up to 6-11 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Panthers beat Hancock by a score of 9-4 on Friday.
