Volleyball Recap: Eureka Gets the Win

Eureka won the last time they faced East Peoria and things went their way on Thursday too. The Hornets came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hornets.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Eureka was: they took both sets by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-15.

Eureka's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for East Peoria, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Eureka will face off against Geneseo at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for East Peoria, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Limestone at 6:00 p.m. on September 9. The game will give the Raiders their first taste of in-conference action this season.
