Basketball Recap: Canisius Crusaders vs. St. Anthony's Friars

Canisius and St. Anthony squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Canisius had to settle for second. They fell to the St. Anthony's Friars 58-54. The Crusaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Friars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2020.

Taylor Jr. continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Mannix, who posted ten points.

Canisius' loss dropped their record down to 22-5. As for St. Anthony's, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-3 record this season.
