Elysian Fields is a perfect 5-0 against Ore City since September of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. After each having a week off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Elysian Fields has seven straight wins, Ore City has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Elysian Fields' defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Friday. They really took it to Big Sandy for the full four quarters, racking up a 32-0 victory. The Yellowjackets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by 25 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Ore City came up short against Union Grove last Thursday and fell 26-15. The Rebels were right on the edge of victory: they outscored the Lions in the fourth quarter 8-0.

Ore City now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Elysian Fields, their win bumped their record up to 7-0.

Elysian Fields beat Ore City 49-42 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Will the Yellowjackets repeat their success, or do the Rebels have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
