Basketball Game Preview: West Limestone Wildcats vs. Clements Colts

The West Limestone Wildcats will head out to face off against the Clements Colts at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, West Limestone was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 47-42 to Elkmont.

Meanwhile, Clements was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were outmatched by East Limestone and fell 97-43. While losing is never fun, the Colts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 412th, while the Indians are ranked 57th).

Clements' loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for West Limestone, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.

West Limestone beat Clements 53-42 when the teams last played back in November. The rematch might be a little tougher for West Limestone since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
