Softball Recap: Chino Hills Huskies vs. Villa Park Spartans
Chino Hills won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They lost 8-2 to the Villa Park Spartans. Chino Hills was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Villa Park apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.
Chino Hills saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Leilani Allen, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4.
Chino Hills' loss dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Villa Park, their victory ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-15.
As of now, neither Chino Hills nor Villa Park have any future games scheduled.
