Baseball Recap: General McLane Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cathedral Prep, General McLane was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Fort LeBoeuf Bison. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lancers also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2025.

Kellen Chelton was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played.

General McLane's win bumped their record up to 6-4-1. As for Fort LeBoeuf, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

General McLane has already played their next contest, a 4-1 victory against Titusville on the 24th. As for Fort LeBoeuf, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Erie on the 23rd.
