Football Recap: Union Grove Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Union Grove extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 14 on Friday, dropping them down to 0-8. They took a blow against the Stockbridge Tigers, falling 60-28. While losing is never fun, the Wolverines can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 328th, while the Tigers are ranked 63rd).

As for Stockbridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. The result was nothing new for Stockbridge, who have now won four games by 32 points or more so far this season.

Joshua Scott had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 345 yards and seven TDs, while also rushing for 82 yards and one score on only six carries. Those seven passing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Zyon Robinson also helped out as he racked up 109 receiving yards.

Union Grove and Stockbridge will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Wolverines see the field they'll take on Locust Grove at 7:30 p.m. on the 24th. As for Stockbridge, their break will end when they face Eagle's Landing Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
