Softball Recap: Owatonna Comes Up Short

Owatonna fell victim to Winona and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Hawks, falling 9-0. The Huskies just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Owatonna saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kendra Bogen, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Owatonna's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Winona, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Owatonna will take on rival Mankato East at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Winona is set to challenge their familiar foe Red Wing at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
