Recap: Trezevant Bears vs. KIPP Collegiate phoenix
In what's become a running theme this season, the Trezevant Bears gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They claimed a resounding 78-11 victory over KIPP Collegiate at home. That 67 points margin sets a new team best for Trezevant this season.
SHELBY GRAY was her usual excellent self, dropping a triple-double on 28 points, ten assists, and 19 steals. That makes it eight consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Trezevant's points. MARISSA WILLIAMS was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five steals.
Trezevant now has a winning record of 8-7. As for KIPP Collegiate, they bumped their record down to 1-10 with that loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Trezevant will take on Lakeland Preparatory at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. KIPP Collegiate will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Douglass at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
