Volleyball Recap: Walnut Beats Falkner for Their Third Straight Win

Walnut had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Falkner Eagles. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Allie Jackson had an outrageously good game as she had 12 aces and one assist. Those 12 aces gave her a new career-high. Kayleigh Steele also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Walnut was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Walnut's win bumped their record up to 25-3-1. As for Falkner, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Walnut wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Pine Grove on the 20th. As for Falkner, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Ripley on the 20th.
