Basketball Recap: Pocatello Has No Trouble Against Highland

The third road match was the charm for Pocatello, as they earned their first road win of the season. They strolled past the Highland Rams with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 56-42. That 14 point margin sets a new team best for the Thunder this season.

Pocatello is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points per game. As for Highland, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pocatello will host Century at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Century knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Pocatello likes a good challenge. As for Highland, they will be playing at home against Madison at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Madison will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Highland surely won't give up without a fight.
