Softball Recap: Owego Free Academy River Hawks vs. Waverly Wolverines
Owego Free Academy's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They skirted past the Waverly Wolverines 8-7. For the River Hawks, this counts as revenge for the 17-11 victory the Wolverines walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Carsten Crawford was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
