League recap: Westview stuns Southridge in upset

The biggest upset of the week belonged to Westview, who took down seventh ranked Southridge, 42-41. Austin Brisbee threw for 270 yards and 5 touchdowns during the win.

Adding to the longest winning streak in 6A Metro this week, Jesuit beat Aloha 51-7. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Crusaders.

Westview's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Wildcats feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Brisbee has thrown for 2,121 yards and 19 touchdowns this season, while Teagan Lind has 34 catches for 456 yards.

The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Sunset and the Wildcats. The Apollos comes into the matchup ranked 22nd in the state, while Westview ranks 15th.

Jesuit took down the Warriors 51-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
