Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Marisol Tembrock and Kyla Vejrostek Lead Frederick to Victory

There's no place like home for Frederick, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They came out on top against the Centaurus Warriors by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. For the Golden Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Frederick was led to victory by Kyla Vejrostek and Marisol Tembrock. Vejrostek had 12 digs and two aces, while Tembrock had ten digs and three aces. That's the most aces Vejrostek has posted since back in August. Isabelle Ramer also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Frederick was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in 11 consecutive matchups.

Frederick's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Centaurus, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Frederick is set to challenge their familiar foe Silver Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Centaurus will square off against rival Longmont at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
