Basketball Game Preview: Elliott County Lions vs. Wolfe County Wolves

The Elliott County Lions will take on the Wolfe County Wolves at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Lions on Wednesday. Elliott County fell 67-57 to Lewis County.

Meanwhile, Wolfe County was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 66-61 to Perry County Central. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Commodores recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Wolfe County's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Elliott County, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8.
