Soccer Recap: Social Circle Takes Down Dade County in a Playoff Battle

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Social Circle walked away with it. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Dade County Wolverines on Monday. That's more bragging rights for Social Circle, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Kara Taylor was the driving force of Social Circle's attack as she scored both of Social Circle's goals, bringing her season total up to seven goals.

The win (which was Social Circle's third in a row) raised their record to 16-5. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Dade County, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6.

Coming up, Social Circle will face off against Bremen on Thursday. Social Circle will need to watch out since Bremen have now posted at least four goals in their last six games. Dade County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
