Basketball Game Preview: Centerville Tigers vs. Leon Cougars

The Centerville Tigers will take on the Leon Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Centerville has struggled recently with seven losses in a row, while Leon will arrive with 16 straight wins.

On Tuesday, Centerville had to suffer through a 61-25 loss at the hands of Grapeland. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1280th, while the Sandies are ranked 567th).

Meanwhile, Leon strolled past Grapeland with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 43-27.

Centerville's defeat dropped their record down to 10-20. As for Leon, their victory bumped their record up to 25-4.
