Baseball Game Preview: Banning Pilots vs. Narbonne Gauchos

For the second straight game, Banning will face off against Narbonne. The Pilots will be playing at home against the Gauchos at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Banning has won three straight at home, while Narbonne won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.

Banning's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They blew past Narbonne 8-0.

Isaac Martinez was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Pedro Ibanez-Eddy, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one double.

Banning was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Narbonne only posted a batting average of .136.

Banning's win bumped their record up to 15-8. As for Narbonne, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-12.
