Baseball Game Preview: Jensen Beach Falcons vs. Benjamin Buccaneers

The Jensen Beach Falcons will head out to challenge the Benjamin Buccaneers at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Jensen Beach will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Tuesday as neither Jensen Beach nor Suncoast made it on the board until the seventh inning. The Falcons had just enough and edged out the Chargers 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Falcons have posted since April 15, 2025.

Cooper Proctor looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off four hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

Jensen Beach hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Suncoast struck out eight times.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 14 runs the game before, Benjamin was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They came up short against King's Academy, falling 11-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Buccaneers in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost four in a row.

Benjamin's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Jensen Beach, their record now sits at 6-3.
