It was a classic East v. West duel when Zeeland East took on Zeeland West on Tuesday. The Chix came out on top against the Dux by a score of 6-3. The win continues a trend for the Chix in their matchups with the Dux: they've now won eight in a row.

Quincy Thome was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, one triple, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Caden Hunderman, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Zeeland East's victory bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Zeeland West, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Zeeland East will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Dux: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
