Basketball Recap: Piper Falls Despite Big Games from Janiya Joassin and Tahlia Dolce

Piper lost against Western back in February of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Piper Bengals came up short against the Western Wildcats, falling 47-27. The Bengals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tahlia Dolce and Janiya Joassin certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Dolce posted 13 points, while Joassin earned 11 points.

Piper now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Western, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-9.

Piper does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Western, they will challenge Cypress Bay at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
