Softball Recap: North Fort Myers Takes a Loss

North Fort Myers lost against Parrish Community last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Red Knights took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulls. The Red Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kaliyah Williams spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned runs on nine hits.

At the plate, Mia Lane made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

North Fort Myers' loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Parrish Community, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-2 record this season.

North Fort Myers does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Parrish Community, they will square off against Charlotte at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
