Basketball Recap: Meeker Comes Up Short

Meeker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 51-43 to the Stroud Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, with their most recent loss being a 48-45 defeat last Friday.

Meeker's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Stroud, their win bumped their record up to 5-9.

Coincidentally, Meeker and Stroud will both be playing Chandler the next time they take the court. The Tigers will host the Lions at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday, while the Bulldogs will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
